NBC has canceled the multi-cam comedy “Night Court,” Variety has confirmed. The followup to the beloved 1980s series aired for three seasons at the broadcast network. Melissa Rauch led the cast, which also included original series cast member John Laroquette as well as Wendie Malick,

According to Deadline, there was reportedly a late push for Night Court to get a shortened fourth and final season, but it didn’t pan out. It’s possible that Warner Bros. Television, the studio that produces Night Court, will shop the series around following the NBC cancellation.
