Jay-Z’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, has received a scathing rebuke from the presiding judge on the rapper’s rape case.

Alex Spiro spoke at Roc Nation’s New York headquarters, saying the rap mogul is upset about the lawsuit and that “Mr. Carter has nothing to do with Mr. Combs’ case.”

A New York judge condemned the rapper’s attorney Alex Spiro for his “relentless filing of combative motions containing inflammatory language.”

Earlier this month, Jay-Z - real name Shawn Corey Carter - was named in a civil lawsuit in which he was accused of raping a teenager in 2000 alongside fellow rapper Sean Diddy Combs, 55, while an unnamed female celebrity watched.
