Since joining the NHL in 1979, the Edmonton Oilers have played well over 300 postseason games, winning nearly 60 percent of them. That’s a great record, but it still means that Edmonton has been on the wrong side of the score an awful lot of times.

As much as the Los Angeles Kings-Edmonton Oilers game delivered excitement during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, NHL reporter Alex Curry’s outfit choice stole some of the spotlight off the ice. On Monday night, the Kings went head-to-head with the Oilers in a thrilling showdown that ended in a heartbreaking 6-5 loss for Edmonton.
