Welcome to Waiver Wire Watch, where I review my favorite waiver wire adds and drops for each week of the MLB season. The premise is pretty straightforward. I’ll try to give you some recommended adds each week based on recent production or role changes.

Evan Carter was the lead outfield pickup for me last week, but he remains in the free agent pool in most shallow formats. Angel Martinez is my second best option at outfield this week.

Gusto has been nails whether he’s started or come out of the bullpen all year. He’s pitched to a 2.93 ERA with 29 strikeouts across 27.1 innings, and his K-BB% sits at an excellent 18%. That would rank 23rd in the league if he had enough innings to qualify.
