Firefighters rescued a person in a wheelchair, a dog and two cats from a fire in an apartment building in Mobile that displaced six families on Christmas morning. Rescuers were dispatched at 7:19 a.m. Wednesday and arrived to a building engulfed in smoke which could be seen in second-floor apartments.

A Hazard family has been displaced after their home caught fire on Christmas Eve. According to the Hazard Fire Department, fire crews were dispatched around 1:04 p.m. to Jasmine Court. There they found a single-wide trailer fully engulfed in flames.
