Australian carrier Qantas said it had delayed flights to Johannesburg in recent weeks on warnings the US government issued about the re-entry of SpaceX rockets in the South Indian Ocean. An SAA spokesperson said its flights to Perth weren't affected.

The carrier currently flies up to six times a week between Sydney and Johannesburg using its 485-capacity A380s, in what is one of its most popular services.
