Christmas has come early for the DC Universe fandom, with DC Studios and Max revealing the fate of Creature Commandos ahead of its Season 1 finale.

News of Season 2 was announced in the middle of the show’s run. Season 1, which runs for seven episodes, premiered on December 5 with the first two episodes, followed by new episodes released weekly on Thursdays. The finale of the show’s first season is scheduled for January 9.

Max has picked up a second season of Creature Commandos, the adult animated series from DC Studios and Warner Bros Animation. Creature Commandos tracks a secret team of incarcerated monsters recruited for missions deemed too dangerous for humans.
