Remaining on the list at the No. 4 spot in the rankings was Arizona Diamondbacks top prospect Jordan Lawlar. It was reported late Sunday night by Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic that Lawlar was being promoted to the major leagues and would join the Diamondbacks for their upcoming series against the San Francisco Giants.
“Veteran reliever Kendall Graveman, who has not pitched in an MLB game since September, 2023, will travel with the Arizona Diamondbacks and is set to return this week against the San Francisco Giants,” Bob Nightengale of USA Today shared in a post on X.
Alongside Lawlar, the Diamondbacks also activated Kendall Graveman off of the injured list. Originally signed this winter as a reinforcement to the back end of the bullpen, Graveman has been plagued with back issues and nagging injury.
