Charlton was beaten 3-0 to ensure Wrexham went up as the third division runner-up behind champion Birmingham, and co-owner Ryan Reynolds reflected on their third promotion in three seasons.

The 161-year-old club has made huge waves since being taken over by North American actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhinney in 2020, and have risen from the National League to England's second tier in half a decade.

A 3-0 victory on Saturday ensured that the club, out of the Football Leauge when Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney bought it in 2021, is headed to the English Championship.
