After a campaign that has been disjointed in concept and execution, the Warriors can make the case with wins on Tuesday and particularly Wednesday that they are, in fact, “figuring it out,” as Steph Curry implored fans (specifically “Twitter fingers”) to do two weeks back.

Although the Golden State Warriors struggled in the 2024-25 season, they've conquered the Minnesota Timberwolves. Wednesday's primetime ESPN-broadcasted matchup continued the theme of their regular-season series. The Warriors tamed the Timberwolves in a wire-to-wire 116-115 victory.

The Warriors were up 34-10 late in the first quarter, a mind-boggling combination of Minnesota ineptitude and Golden State desperation.

Golden State's clutch win helped them climb back into the race for a play-in tournament spot. They currently reside 10th in the Western Conference, with plenty of time to attempt to secure the 6th seed or higher. Still, the win over Minnesota will likely have provided a confidence boost for the entire rotation.
