The NBA announced the starters for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game on Thursday night and to no surprise, Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns was named a frontcourt starter for the Western Conference. Durant will join both LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers and Nikola Jokić of the Denver Nuggets in the West frontcourt while Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City were named the starters for the West backcourt.
James now has 2,591,287 fan votes to Durant’s 2,498,843. The two all-time greats are second and third to three-time NBA MVP, Denver Nuggets big Nikola Jokic, who has 2,924,436 fan votes.
