Due to the forecast of inclement weather, Monday's Spring Training game between the Detroit Tigers and Toronto Blue Jays has been canceled. Tickets to the game can be exchanged for comparably priced tickets to any other home 2025 Spring Training game.

The Detroit Tigers have canceled their first home spring training game since 2016 because of rain forecast to continue throughout the day.

In his first at-bat on Sunday, Barger took a Garrett Crochet pitch off the hand and was forced to exit the game. It was ruled a foul ball off the knob of the bat, but it evidently caught a piece of Barger's hand, making him unable to finish the at-bat. The Blue Jays have since announced Barger has a hand contusion, which caused his exit.

Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Chris Bassitt is the team's honourary bat boy after coming in last place in their fantasy football league, joining former member of the Blue Jays Tim Mayza who served a similar punishment last season.
