Criminal investigators with the Illinois State Police are asking for the public's help in their investigation regarding the death of a 35-year-old man.

Illinois State Police are asking for the public's help with information after a driver was killed Tuesday morning following a crash on the Edens Expressway. Around 7 a.m., troopers responded to the crash on westbound I-94 near Lake Avenue.

Three Illinois State Police squad cars were struck within two days in violations of the state’s “Move Over Law,” even as troopers mourn the death of Trooper Clay Carns, who was killed in a similar crash on December 23rd.

Illinois State Police is investigating two separate traffic crashes in DuPage and Cook counties over the holiday weekend, both involving drivers who failed to comply with Illinois’ “Scott’s Law.”
