Travellers face further disruption at UK airports including Gatwick, Heathrow and Manchester due to thick fog which is set to persist today says the Met Office

Fog that has caused delays to hundreds of flights in the UK is set to linger into the weekend, say forecasters. Most of the country’s airports that have faced disruption due to murky weather over the past few days. And unfortunately for anyone travelling this morning, the fog will most likely persist today, according to the Met Office.

More than 1,000 flights were delayed at London Heathrow and Gatwick on Friday as fog created travel chaos for UK airports.
