DALLAS -- Brock Faber scored 35 seconds into overtime to give the Minnesota Wild a 3-2 win against the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center on Friday.

Defenseman Brock Faber scored a wraparound goal 35 seconds into overtime and the Minnesota Wild rallied from two goals down midway through the third period to beat the Dallas Stars 3-2 on Friday night.

It looked like the Wild would fall into the same trap they always do against the Stars but this time the Wild found a way to come back.

Brodin foiled Oettinger’s shutout bid with his first goal in more than a month, snapping a low shot just inside the right post. On the next shift, Foligno screened the goalie and deflected Jared Spurgeon’s shot to knot the score.

But the Wild flipped the game in the third with two goals in a 57-second span — one by Jonas Brodin (his first since Nov. 19) and a Marcus Foligno redirection — to tie the game. And that’s when Brock Faber stole the show.
