North Carolina has brought in seven four-star transfers, including cornerback Thaddeus Dixon from Washington, offensive tackle Daniel King from Troy, linebacker Khmori House from Washington, edge rusher Smith Vilbert from Penn State, defensive lineman D'Antre Robinson from Florida, and Pryce Yates from UConn.

NC native Drake Powell was a five-star recruit coming out of high school, and he played one season for coach Hubert Davis with the Tar Heels.

The UNC athletic department said Miller died Sunday in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. No cause of death was given. An athletic department spokesman said Miller was in hospice care and dealing with medical issues for some time.

During his long tenure in Chapel Hill, Davis became one of the better players in UNC history. He finished his career averaging 15.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists, while becoming North Carolina's No. 2 all-time leading scorer (2,725 total points), right behind Tyler Hansbrough (2,872).

Former Cornell wrestling All-American Chris Foca signed with what Tar Heel Wrestling Club housed at North Carolina, according to a release. The upperweight signed on as a resident athlete and will pursue a run at the 2028 Olympics.
