Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry had an intriguing reaction to the team’s blockbuster trade for Jimmy Butler. Warriors forward Draymond Green recounted the conversation he had with Curry after the Warriors went and got Butler at the trade deadline.

Stephen Curry was a massive beneficiary of the deal. The 36-year-old guard now has a co-star with scoring and on-ball gravity, which makes his life on the hardwood much easier. Draymond Green also gets a high-IQ defender to share the floor with, who also happens to be a solid playmaker on the offensive side of the ball.

Before the Butler trade, Golden State was a cumulative minus-90 without Curry in 51 games. Since the trade, it's plus-30 in six games.
