Two backpacks full of more than $1.1 million worth of cocaine were found near the Canadian Border. Agents with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection were out in a wooded area in Lynden, Washington near a port of entry on Dec. 19, CBS News reported.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) seized a hefty amount of cocaine near the Northern Border in Washington last week. A news release from CBP stated border patrol assigned to the Blaine Sector in Washington seized around 78 pounds of cocaine on December 19. The estimated value of the drugs comes to more than $1.1 million.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agents found 30 brick-like packages containing a white powdery substance in the backpacks.

Authorities assigned to a region near the Canadian border in Washington found two backpacks left out in the woods containing an estimated $1.1 million of cocaine.

Whoever left two large backpacks near the US-Canada border in Washington state was clearly uninterested in communing with nature. Inside the black bags discovered last week were 30 bricks of what turned out to be cocaine,
