An uncanny shooting night plagued OSU (12-2, 2-1 Big 12) for the majority of the game. Starters Ana Gret Asi shot a combined 1-for-17, and not even the backbone of Heard or a stellar outing freshman guard Jadyn Wooten could bring fortune the Cowgirls’ way.

K-State players lamented the final play of the night. It went poorly from the beginning when Tang instructed his team to call a timeout after the ball crossed midcourt. But the timeout was called too early and the Wildcats had to in-bound the ball from the backcourt.

Kansas overcame a nine point deficit in the second half to down Oklahoma State and win their first game of conference play.
