I’m tossing my vote behind the Washington Commanders and Buffalo Bills in the chalkiest NFL betting season in a decade. And, incredibly, I’m not alone. Our seven-person panel is effectively split on 2025’s conference championship games, which bodes well for Sunday’s excitement if not our overall picks records.

The Bills impressed in the wild-card and divisional rounds, but in their defeat of the Baltimore Ravens, which earned them entrance into this week’s AFC Championship Game, they made mistakes that could be costly if repeated against the Chiefs.

The Buffalo Bills (13-4) go on the road in a playoff matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs (15-2) at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in the AFC Championship game on Jan. 26, kicking off at 6:30 p.m.

It begins next Sunday with an Interstate 95 showdown between the No. 2 seed Philadelphia Eagles (16-3, 12-17 against the spread, including playoffs) and the sixth-seeded Washington Commanders (14-5, 13-6 ATS) for the NFC title.
