A pedestrian, who was struck Friday night by someone driving a stolen vehicle on a Lowell sidewalk, has since died from his injuries.

Gregory Leschishin was walking on Rogers Street in Lowell on Friday night when prosecutors say 30-year-old Christopher Campbell drove a stolen car onto the sidewalk, striking the older man. At Campbell’s arraignment on Monday, a prosecutor said Leschishin was “unlikely to survive.”

A pedestrian who was struck by a stolen vehicle on Rogers Street late last week while walking near his home died on Tuesday after spending days on life support.
