A low-pressure system is moving across the country, delivering rain, snow, and ice to much of the southeast. This same system will be making its way along the east coast early this weekend, bringing a chance for accumulating snow to the tri-state.

If we look at the jet stream for Friday morning, a massive trough will stretch to the south and help spawn a nasty storm that will likely bring some serious wintry conditions to the Southern states.

Our second significant winter storm of the week fires up Friday with all snow likely this round and a winter storm warning in effect. Stay weather aware!
